Water On Mars Means Life Is There

The news that Mars has flowing water is amazing but it has to mean there is life on the planet. We don't know much about this rather large planet. I don't understand the need to talk in absolute terms as if we have seen it up close and lived on it. I believe life is on Mars. I just wonder if the news is being hidden from us.
