Trent Richardson Cut By Oakland Raiders, Who Were Unfair

Trent Richardson was cut by the Oakland Raiders moments ago and while its sad, the sadder fact is the Raiders did not give him a schematic chance. Trent Richardson runs best off tackle but the Raiders did not even try to put him in situations like that. They gave him plays that were line bucks and it's no surprise he was downed for a loss a number of times in the preseason. So Trent moves on. Hopefully to a better place.

Landline Phone Owners More Conservative Than Cell Phone Owners

Some of you have asked where I got the idea that landline phone users were more conservative than cell phone users It's from a 2010 Pew Study and the link to that is here: http://ift.tt/1lpoMFn From the study: "Overall, the landline sample includes more white, non-Hispanics than the cell-only group (79% vs. 61%) while minorities make up a larger share of the cell-onlys. In the cell-only group, there are far more Hispanics (17% vs. 5% in landline sample), more African Americans (14% vs. 9%) and more people of other or mixed racial backgrounds (8% vs. 5%). Six-in-ten cell-only adults are men while 40% are women; this is consistent with findings from other cell phone surveys. The gender ratio in landline samples is highly dependent on the method for selecting respondents within the household."

CNN Poll July 2015: Hillary Clinton 51, Jeb Bush 46; Bush Over Trump In August

CNN is making a lot out of their August 2015 Opinion Research Poll, reporting that Donald Trump is within "striking distance" of Hillary Clinton with 45 percent in the poll of just over 1,000 people, where Clinton has 51 percent. Aside from the fact that the poll calls more landline users than cellphone users by design, and by a constant ratio of roughly 600 to 400 in the poll data I've looked at for this year thus far, the more shocking news is that in July, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush was a point closer to Clinton. That's right. In the July 2015 CNN / Opinion Research Poll, the pollsters asked the same question to voter and to registered voters and comparing Clinton and Bush. The result: Hillary Clinton 51 percent to Jeb Bush 46 percent, and that was for both total sample and for registered voters! So I then checked to determine if CNN had reported that Bush was so close to Clinton, and they had not done so. Moreover, an honest report by CNN would have said that while Trump was close to Clinton, he's still not as close as Bush was in July. Look at the poll date yourself: July Poll Data: Page 76 of 92 for Bush and Page 78 of 92 for Trump (registered voters) http://ift.tt/1IlTF4C August Poll Data: Page 60 of 67 for Bush and Page 63 of 67 for Trump (registered voters) http://ift.tt/1JhVpAW Do you see? Time to call Jeb Bush and tell him the news. CNN has a lot of explaining to do. Are they in the tank for Donald Trump, and if so, why? And why not just report the news, let alone survey voters in a way that reflect the fact that just as many people and voters use cell phones as land-lines. There's is a real difference between landline users and their more liberal cell phone counterparts. That's the way the country is turning - not reflecting that in a poll makes the poll questionable. There's an "out" that CNN would use regarding "likely" voters and trying to capture their views, but even then how this was done just looks bad. The question is this: is Hillary Clinton's chance to be a game-changer in that she's the first woman that can win the White House as exciting to voters as when Barack Obama had the chance to become the first black president? Stay tuned.

Oakland Raiders Working On Own Coliseum City Stadium Plan

Oakland Raiders working on stadium plan for Oakland! The Oakland Raiders held a meeting with members of the City of Oakland, the County of Alameda, and the Oakland Alameda County Joint Powers Authority today. The good news is the Raiders are working on their own version of Coliseum City. If you are wondering if that means that Floyd Kephart is out, the answer is that yes, he soon will be. The problem for the Raiders is that there is a $400 million commercial development revenue gap that they are trying to figure out how to fill with their design. If they used my Coliseum City concept, the hotel revenue throw off would be $328 million. Meanwhile Kephart is holding his own public meeting Tuesday, August 25th at Lunomare Restaurant in Oakland at 8:30 am. It's a public presentation for invited guests and ahead of the September 4th Oakland City Council Meeting on Coliseum City.

CNN / ORC Poll Has Conservative Bias: Hillary Clinton v Donald Trump Poll Rigged

The CNN / ORC Poll that reports Hillary Clinton with just a six point lead over Donald Trump has a built In conservative bias. Opinion Research always talks to about 200 more landline users than cell phone users and always around 600 to 400, and this has gone on for years. Without change. CNN needs to stop this. The percentage of households using cell phones is almost equal to landlines today. The 60 40 split was true in 2012 but this is 2015. Now they are equal. The poll approach should reflect that.

Oakland Coliseum In Bad Shape: 2nd Answer For Ted On Wellington

via IFTTT

Oakland Coliseum Not In Good Shape - Answer To Ted On Wellington

This video is a response to "Ted on Wellington"'s question to me via email, which is this: Thank you for your effort and detailed reporting the affairs of civics and spectator sports. This tale has a list of characters and a plot to rival a Russian novel. What I did gather from the piece is that if a Raiders stadium in Oakland was really something that would provide a guaranteed benefit the city, city officials would be making a good faith effort to make it happen. It seems pretty clear that if this deal was meant to be, it would be done already. The paralysis of both parties is evidence that neither party can prove that the rewards exceed the risks inherent in an Oakland stadium project. We should make good use this paralysis by using the current facility, at least until the last deal is paid off. Finally, could you explain why we are considering a new stadium when the Coliseum complex is in far better physical condition than our streets, sewers, schools and parks? Ted on Wellington. My response, as I say in the video, is that the Coliseum is not in good shape, and we have a 22 year history of fearing to do big projects, regardless of the type of project, and rely more on champions for one, rather than a community task force around one. I started the Oakland Downtown Coalition in 1997 and that was a task force that worked to get all of the necessary parties together to agree on how 14th and Broadway should be redesigned to handle AC Transits' "hub" system.

Oakland Coliseum City Update: City Focused On "New Community" Not NFL Stadium

In this Coliseum City update, the City of Oakland elected officials may object to this news, but according to two sources, first, the focus is on a proposal to Alameda County that centers around the estimated cost of Oakland Coliseum land, and not the County's portion of the remaining debt; second, the City is still focused on the version of Coliseum City that is, as one elected official put it, “a new community.” That was the term Oakland City Council President Lynette Gibson McElhaney used in a Facebook conversation this blogger started and she participated in Sunday evening. The total was a disturbing reminder that Oakland, once again, is tone-deaf to the actual objective everyone else expects, a new stadium, and trying to (or at least Lynette is) build the entire $4 billion Coliseum City version. The same one that Floyd Kephart is behind and that Alameda County Officials wanted jettisoned last fall. More: http://ift.tt/1WA1GNZ

FitnessSF Oakland Bad For Straight Black Men #BlackLivesMatter #Fitness

FitnessSF Oakland not good gym for Straight Black Men. FitnessSF terminated my 20-year FitnessSF Oakland gym membership Thursday, Aug 6th and frankly, I do not want it back. I was falsely accused of “following a certain woman around the gym” one day by whoever that women is (not the gym itself), and not continuously (and I say this openly), even though my friends at the gym served as witnesses and saying I did not do that and wasn’t near a woman but talking to them. I have zero idea who the woman is, and I don’t care who she is. But, as the video-blog above reveals, FitnessSF Oakland, SF Castro, Martin, South SF, harbor some members and staff who are hostile to straight black men. (And to put a fine point on it, I’m single, not married, so you can’t go there and say I’m in some place I should not be. Sorry.) I completely supported FitnessSF’s change from the Gold’s Gym brand to one of their own, and because the CEO of Gold’s Gym supported anti-gay organizations, but what has happened since the rebranding has been a wild set of developing social divisions between gays and straights and the addition of non-black women who exhibit paranoid behavior toward straight black men, and in some cases, men in general they perceive as straight. The latest story was of a man who said hello to a woman at FitnessSF Oakland, only to find himself at the receiving end of her fist. She hit him! For saying hello! This was told to me by two Latino brothers who are FitnessSF Oakland members. I’m happy I’m out of there but there’s something really wrong overall. As the gym manager, a friend who’s straight black and male, said to me today “You can’t even talk or say a thing any more” It’s a really scary place to be. Kristin Klinghirn's Race-Biased Fantastic Four Cast Interview

I just watched Kristin Klinghirn's really race-biased Fantastic Four Cast interview. In it, the member of The Bert Show program started the questioning off with talk not about Fantastic Four, but The Bachelorette. Kristin, no one black watches that show. So it's not surprising that Michael B. Jordan was at a loss for words. I'd have said to you what does that have to do with my movie? Ugh! Let's get this out of the way: you are totally hot, but your race biased presentation takes away from that. You have to be more aware of how you are being racist and stop doing that when interviewing multiracial ensemble casts like that of the Fantastic Four.

Chicken Noodles and Cheese Casserole

This is my version of the American Classic Chicken Noodles and Cheese Casserole! It has boneless chicken, yellow squash, acorn squash, eggplant, onions, and is covered with Mexican style cheese. I cooked the ingredients as if I was making a pasta dish, then poured it all into this casserole dish and cooked it at 350 for 38 minutes. YUM!

Oakland Coliseum City Artist Sketch Of Raiders Stadium Proposal

This is my sketch of Oakland Coliseum City and based on the fiscal plan proposal I created for Mark Davis after he requested it at the NFL Spring Owners Meeting in San Francisco. The idea is to use the existing East Side as the basis for a new $770 million football only Raiders stadium of 68,000 seats and 300 luxury boxes. The New South End Zone Pavilion is also the Raiders wing of the 1,010 room hotel complex. At the extreme left, is the Oracle Arena and a 220,000 sq ft retail building with an atrium is between it and the new Raiders stadium and with the hotel "center wing" next to it, with the start of the "A's Wing" off more to the left and out of this picture. Much of the parking would be to the north area and at another site near the Oakland Estuary. The total cost of the complex is estimated at $1.8 billion including the A's Stadium and the retail area. This is the first Coliseum City Oakland Raiders stadium focused concept that has been publicly seen and with any true detail showing where things are and why. What we have had are overall renditions of the property but without discussion of what is the stadium versus retail, etc. I am just trying to get this rolling. Something has to be done!

Kevin Demoff St Louis Rams COO Meets Press At NFL Owners Meeting

Kevin Demoff, St Louis Rams Chief Operating Officer, has a rather testy meeting with the media toward the end of the NFL Special Owners Meeting on Los Angeles Opportunities. Mr. Demoff and St. Louis Rams Owner Stan Kroenke gave a well-received presentation that lacked the smooth PR moves of Carmen Policy 's press outreach after his Carson Stadium meeting. Contrary to reports, there's a feeling that Stan Kroenke may have the plan, but not the owner votes, and that' due to the advancing City and County of St. Louis' proposal. NFL's Eric Grubman: Oakland Raiders Stadium, Coliseum City Plan Must Be Real, Actionable

At the NFL Special Meeting for Los Angeles Opportunities, NFL Executive Vice President Eric Grubman commented that he had a discussion with the City of Oakland and County of Alameda representatives he met with at Raiders Headquarters two weeks ago. Eric called the meeting, contrary to Alameda County representatives who were under the impression that Oakland Planning and Development Director Claudia Cappio called the meeting. Mr. Grubman said he felt sorry for the Oakland-based Oakland Raiders fans who deserve to have a real, actionable plan that keeps the Raiders in Oakland. Coliseum City Oakland Raiders Message To Joe Tuman

This is my vlog response to Joe Tuman and regarding Oakland's so far failing effort to keep its sports teams, most notably the Raiders on the heels of the special NFL Owners Meeting where our city just looked bad. Like it could not even form a doable stadium plan. Oakland has a problem with taking on projects that are truly large scale. My city has lost the will and the initiative to complete big projects. We have to get it back.

NFL: Oakland Has Not Submitted Viable Plan To Keep Raiders

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, accompanied by NFL Executive Vice President for Business Affairs Eric Grubman at the NFL Press Conference after the special meeting on Los Angeles Opportunities, said that Oakland has not to date submitted a "viable" plan, and in response to my question on the City of Oakland and County of Alameda. There's still time for Oakland to do a "viable" plan, but this is August going into September, and the relocation filing deadline may be moved up. As to my proposal that Oakland Raiders Owner Mark Davis asked me to submit, it's an idea that's not backed in such a way to make it a true action plan. That's not my fault; Grubman told me "They're not using your plan; they're going in a different direction." The trouble is, time's running out. Oakland Coliseum City Update: City Had Financial Plan In 2011

The Oakland Coliseum City Update is that The City Of Oakland had a financial plan for the concept, including stadiums for Warriors, Athletics, and Raiders, as far back as 2011. That was the year the request for developer proposals was issued. This came from a former high-ranking source who was with the City of Oakland. The source said that there has been so much leadership turnover in economic development that no one knows where full Coliseum City documents are. Meanwhile New City Development LLC headed by Floyd Kephart has been forced to come up with its own financing plan for an Oakland Raiders stadium. One that has been panned by many. This news comes on the eve of the NFL Special Owners Meeting to be held in Chicago, Tuesday.

Ferguson Shooting On Anniversary Of Mike Brown Horrible

The Ferguson Shooting on the anniversary of Mike Brown's murder was horrible and predictable. It was the result of more unarmed blacks shot by police since then, too many guns, and the fact that the economy is very much not producing enough good jobs. It also points to a scary American future unless we act now.

Fitness SF - FitnessSF Oakland Gym War On Straight Black Men #BlackLivesMatter mp4
