Sam Smith Said He Is Not Doing SPECTRE James Bond Theme On Sept 4th

Sam Smith said he was not doing the James Bond SPECTRE Theme as recently as September 4th. Now he has a photo with the SPECTRE ring on his finger, which can only indicate that he is doing it. What?
